About Us

Expedition Films are based in Glasgow, Scotland and was created in 2007 when Sandbaggers, the creator of Gobi Challenge, hired MacDonald Studio to film and document the entire event. Robert MacDonald, MD of MacDonald Studio, competed in the challenge and took on the the extra challenge of filming the event from a competitors point of view. With the mutlimedia skills and creative talent posessed by Robert the result was a truly unique master piece. Sandbaggers Ltd now use the edited footage to promote up and coming expeditions which has helped their business grow exponentially. Sandbaggers now use Expedition Films on a yearly basis.
So with field training, specialist equipment and various expeditions behind us we have the experience and talent to cater for any expedition.
